BMC launched a mobile application called "Monsoon Related Disease" to provide information about the various diseases such as Malaria, Dengue, Swine flu and Chikungunya.
The application will be available on google play and will formally launched by Dr. Avinash Supe, DEAN of KEM hospital, at Lokmanya Thilak Hospital. A civic official said, "there's a do's and don'ts list on the application.
It gives clear information about the cleanliness measures that can be followed to prevent such diseases. The app also provides the names and address of other nearby municipal hospitals and clinics.
